SmithAmundsen Adds Two Veteran Attorneys to St. Louis Office
ST. LOUIS, May 2, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Two veteran attorneys have joined the law firm of SmithAmundsen as partners in St. Louis, Mo. The attorneys are Francis "Butch" Miller of the former Gallop, Johnson & Neuman firm and W. Jeffrey Muskopf, formerly of Lashly & Baer. Francis "Butch" Miller concentrates his practice in real estate and corporate law. Jeffrey Muskopf is a complex litigation and appellate attorney with an emphasis on product liability, toxic torts, the defense of financial institutions, consumer fraud, commercial litigation, insurance coverage, and class actions. He is directly responsible for managing lawsuits brought by over 250 plaintiffs against his clients in toxic tort cases both in Illinois and Missouri.
"It has been important to us to expand in the St. Louis market since we opened our office here in 2010," said Managing Partner Larry Schechtman. "These attorneys know the area, know the businesses, and know the issues faced. They are exactly the kind of attorneys we hoped to find when we decided to expand the St. Louis office."
