American Legion National Commander issues condolences to Texas church shooting victims


INDIANAPOLIS, Nov. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- American Legion National Commander Denise H. Rohan issued the following statement regarding today's shooting at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas:

"These statements are becoming all too frequent, yet crimes such as what happened in Sutherland Springs, Texas, must never be viewed as normal or acceptable.  Today, a group of godly people were victims of an ungodly attack. The American Legion stands with the people of Sutherland Springs. We pray for the victims and their families."
