Mission Mitsubishi and Mitsubishi Motors North America pleased with Mitsubishi Outlander Sport and Mitsubishi i-MiEV April Sales

SAN ANTONIO, May 3, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Mission Mitsubishi, a Mitsubishi dealer in San Antonio, recently received the 2012 Mitsubishi i-MiEV on our lot and we're quite impressed with not only the foot traffic coming to check it out, but also the total amount of units that we have sold. Mission Mitsubishi isn't the only Mitsubishi dealer across the United States that's reaping the rewards of Mitsubishi's latest electric vehicle(EV), they are pretty hard to come by as Mitsubishi hasn't released them on a full-scale yet.

Yoichi Yokozawa, Mitsubishi Motors North America's(MMNA) CEO & President, talked about the sales and how they're correlating with the release across the U.S., stating that, "Sales of our all-electric Mitsubishi i are growing every month with the continuation of a gradual state-by-state rollout." It will be interesting to see how well Mitsubishi's i will be received once it is available across the United States.

Also showing promise across the U.S., for MMNA, is the 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport as April sales increased a little over 3 percent over last year's April figures. This is good news as Mitsubishi gears up for the release of the new 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport.
