Street Food Fever Gets Hotter in San Francisco
Local, food start-up Hungry Globetrotter launches by supporting the many small food businesses behind the San Francisco Street Food Festival
San Francisco, July 27, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Hungry Globetrotter Inc., a specialty food retail startup, is proud to partner with La Cocina to co-sponsor the 2012 San Francisco Street Food Festival. The festival is a one of a kind event in San Francisco that brings together 80+ food trucks, food carts and restaurants and attracts 80,000 people to eight blocks of the city's Mission District.
The nationwide proliferation of food trucks and carts has given Americans the opportunity to savor the tastes of international cultures in their hometowns. Hungry Globetrotter sees this trend as an opportunity to bring international cuisine right into their homes with its World Dinner Club. "We pack together a carefully curated box of recipes, sauces and spices to help you cook a dinner that's less challenging to prepare and able to take you away from your routine" says founder Vijay Rajendran.
"Hungry Globetrotter is excited to support the many Bay Area small businesses that are the secret to the eclectic food culture here" Rajendran adds. Members of the Hungry Globetrotter team will be onsite to share special offers and discounts for the Word Dinner Club with festival goers.
