Air Force Selects ESN for Design Engineering Support Program of Weapon Systems, Components and Support Equipment

 

ARLINGTON, Va., March 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Air Force has announced the award of the Air Force's Design Engineering Support Program (DESP III) contract to 26 prime contractors.  This is the third iteration of the DESP Program and has a ceiling value of $1.9B.  One of the prime awardees is Sumaria Systems, Inc., a provider of information technology, engineering and professional services and solutions based in Danvers, MA.

Engineering Services Network, Inc. (ESN), an engineering and technology solutions company that provides services to DoD and other federal agencies, has been selected as a subcontractor on Sumaria Systems, Inc.'s DESP III Team, with Sumaria Systems as the prime contractor. The team will be a multi-faceted group of small and large businesses with the ability to meet the diverse work identified on the DESP III contract.

This is a five-year, multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle available for use within the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), the Air Force, and other DoD agencies.

The DESP III IDIQ has a ceiling value of $1.9 billion and was created to provide engineering and high-level technical services in support of all Air Force weapon systems, components and support equipment.
