Boston Center for Adult Education Partners with Luxe Vintages Offering Students Unique Wine Tasting Opportunity!

Boston Center for Adult Education and Luxe Vintages Partner on Celebrity Chef and "Behind the Line" Classes Allowing Students a Unique Wine Tasting Opportunity!

BOSTON, March 15, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE), located smack dab in the middle of Boston's trendy South End, is a modern state-of-the-art facility that hosts some of the city's hippest programming, including culinary classes taught by Boston's top celebrity chefs. Now the BCAE has added a new and exclusive wine partnership with Luxe Vintages, a premium importer and agent of award-winning artisanal wines and spirits from around the world, that will give students an added and unique wine experience unlike any other in the Commonwealth!

Luxe Vintages will provide two different wines from its portfolio to be featured in each of the BCAE's Celebrity Chef and "Behind the Line" classes programmed from March 2012 through July 2013. Just as the culinary classes at the BCAE offer students an experience unlike any other in the city, putting students in small hands-on classes with Boston's top culinary talent, this new wine partnership will allow students an exclusive opportunity to try Luxe Vintage's award-winning artisanal wines and spirits. This sponsorship marks the debut of Luxe Vintages in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and we believe that this is a real "win-win" for all concerned.

"Luxe Vintages focuses on well-crafted, artisanal, food-friendly wines from some of the most exciting producers in the world. We felt that a sponsorship of BCAE's Celebrity Chefs program would be a perfect match for our brands. As a company, we have had Massachusetts – and Metro Boston in particular – on our radar screen for some time. We believe that exposing many of Boston's savvy wine drinkers to our brands – paired with great food – will give us the best opportunity to gain the statewide distribution we are looking for," said Peter Staley, Managing Director of Luxe Vintages.

The BCAE's Celebrity Chef classes are in high demand and are consistent sell-outs, offering students hands-on opportunities to learn from the best in the business, and its "Behind the Line" series transforms the center into an actual restaurant letting students get up close and personal with Boston's most notable chefs. The BCAE has hosted chefs such as: Andy Husbands, Jody Adams, Joanne Chang-Myers, Jason Santos, Gordon Hamersley, Jeremy Sewall, Colin Lynch, Louie DiBiccari, Will Gilson and William Kovel, to name a few.

Classes with star power and out-of-the-box concepts are nothing new to the BCAE that serves 10,000 students a year!

"This is all about creating meaningful partnerships with brands that understand our mission and provide unique opportunities to our students," said Susie Brown, Executive Director of the Boston Center for Adult Education.
