Selling On Sustainability Shares New Ideas and Dispels Myths
COLUMBIA, Md., March 15, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Printing and Graphics Association MidAtlantic (PGAMA) and the Print Grows Trees campaign will present Selling on Sustainability at the 7th Annual Digital Solutions Cooperative Conference (Dscoop). The Conference will be held March 22-24, 2012, at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center, in Washington, D.C.
Conference attendees are invited and encouraged to attend the session on Saturday, March 24th beginning at 8:30AM in the Gaylord National Harbor Convention Center to learn about new selling strategies based on sustainable practices and customer preferences.
"Dscoop is a great opportunity to explore the value print on paper brings to the marketplace. Print on paper is one of the most renewable, reusable and recycled products on the plant. Print Grows Trees challenges the widely held belief that by using less paper, trees will be saved," said Kerry Stackpole, president of PGAMA. "We will explore the value of thinking and acting sustainability in today's corporate environment and how printers can succeed by delivering a positive impact to their customer's bottom line."
Founded in 2005, Dscoop is an independent global community of graphic arts business owners and technical professionals who use HP Indigo and Scitex equipment and related solutions. Dscoop is focused on educating and connecting its members with each other and with HP to improve members' business growth, efficiency and profitability.
About Print Grows Trees and Printing & Graphics Association MidAtlantic
"Print Grows Trees" is an educational campaign that uses facts to show that print on paper actually helps to grow trees and keep our forests from being sold for development. By connecting the dots between print and the private landowners who own almost 60 percent of U.S. woodlands, "Print Grows Trees" challenges the widely held belief that by using less paper, trees will be saved.
PGAMA is the leading trade association serving the visual communications industry in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Southern Pennsylvania. We represent the interests of over 1200 firms across the region. PGAMA is an affiliate of Printing Industries of America, responsible for delivering products and services that enhance the growth and profitability of its members and the industry through advocacy, education, research, and technical information.
