Kanda Releases Callnote Premium Call and Video Recording for Skype and Evernote
Video, Chat, and Call Recording Version Free for a Limited Time
BOSTON, June 4, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Kanda Software, a leading software development firm, has announced that it has released Callnote Premium as an update to its popular Callnote call recording software application for Skype(TM). Callnote is currently among the most popular applications in the audio call recording category of the Skype App Directory. The new version, Callnote Premium, brings additional capabilities including video recording and chat recording. The app can be downloaded from the Skype App Store and is also available from Kanda's web site.
Driven by user requests, Callnote Premium was created to offer both video recording and chat recording in addition to basic call recording. With Callnote Premium, a complete record of every Skype call can be recorded and saved directly to a user's Evernote account. By automating the recording and posting processes Callnote Premium makes it very simple to maintain an archive of full or partial Skype conversations in the user's Evernote notebook. Callnote for Skype(TM) was developed to record Skype conversations and automatically post recordings to Evernote.
Alex Karpovsky, CEO of Kanda Software, commented on the release of Callnote Premium. "As the expression says, 'necessity is the mother of all invention,' and this is precisely why we created Callnote. The basic version proved incredibly powerful for many users and helped identify the potential of having full Skype conversations, including video and chats, recorded and stored in Evernote as well. It is a very simple but powerful upgrade, and this is what we built into Callnote Premium." Mr. Karpovsky added, "Skype and Evernote have proven themselves to be incredibly powerful business and communications tools in many industries, and the integration between the two for storing complete records of calls is supremely useful."
Callnote Premium is a lightweight application and runs with the Skype desktop application for Windows. Incredibly simple and useful - users can click the "Record" button to start or Callnote Premium can start recording automatically when the call starts. "Stop" the recording manually or it will stop automatically when the call ends. The recording is sent to the user's Evernote notebook of choice with the names of the participants and the call duration already specified. The user can optionally edit the note's title and description before posting it to Evernote.
To ensure protection of the users' privacy Callnote Premium can post a message that the call is being recorded to each party's Skype dialog window.
Callnote Premium is free for a limited time. After the free introductory release, Callnote Premium will be priced at $19.50/user. To use Kanda's Skype(TM) Callnote Premium, users need to download the Windows application from Skype's download section, or from Kanda's web site: http://www.kandasoft.com/home/kanda-apps/callnote-premium.html
The basic version of Callnote for both Windows and Mac is also freely available here:
