Deloitte Seeks Nominations for 18th Annual Technology Fast 500™ Ranking

Nominations Deadline: June 29, 2012

NEW YORK, April 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --

Date:

April 10, 2012

What:

Deloitte is now accepting nominations for its annual Technology Fast 500™ ranking of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America. Companies will be selected based on percentage revenue growth over fiscal years 2007 to 2011.  In order to be eligible, companies must:

  • Be in business a minimum of five years.

  • Be headquartered within North America. Subsidiaries or divisions are not eligible unless they have some public ownership and are separately traded.

  • Have fiscal year 2007 operating revenues of at least 50,000 U.S. dollars or Canadian dollars, and fiscal year 2011 operating revenues of at least 5 million U.S. dollars or Canadian dollars.

  • Own proprietary intellectual property or technology that is sold to customers in products that contribute to a majority of the company's operating revenues. Using other companies' technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not satisfy this requirement. Consulting companies, professional service firms, and resellers are not eligible unless a majority of the company's operating revenue is derived from product sales that incorporate the company's proprietary technology, exclusive of related service revenue.

When:

Nominations deadline is June 29, 2012. Winners will be announced on November 14, 2012.
