Turnpoint Solutions Merges with Five Point Partners

Combination yields global presence and leverages consulting leadership in IT consulting and client-side delivery support

ATLANTA, May 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Five Point Partners, an advisory and consulting services firm focused on the utility industry, today announced the completion of a merger with Turnpoint Solutions, a global consulting company that serves energy, mining, and transportation companies. The new Five Point aligns two privately owned, Atlanta-based companies with complementary consulting services and customer-centric cultures.

The merger enables Five Point to broaden its focus on helping clients navigate complex information technology decisions. Five Point now has more than 150 employees serving over 40 active utility, mining and transportation clients from locations in North America, South America and Australia. The new company's customer base includes leading North American investor owned utilities, several of the largest municipal utilities, eight of the top ten global mining companies and the leading U.S. passenger rail company.
