Ingrid Lindberg joins Prime Therapeutics as chief customer experience officer

ST. PAUL, Minn., June 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Prime Therapeutics (Prime) announces the appointment of Ingrid Lindberg to the new role of chief customer experience officer (CxO). The creation of this role affirms Prime's commitment to making the customer its top priority in the business of pharmacy benefit management. Lindberg will be responsible for developing and driving the customer experience strategy across all points of contact for Prime's 20 million pharmacy customers nationwide.

"This position further aligns Prime's focus on ensuring easy access to affordable medicine while providing superior experience to the individuals we help every day. Ingrid brings phenomenal knowledge to the table and will bring our customer's voice to life in everything we do," stated Eric Elliott, president and chief executive officer at Prime. "Not only will she further our understanding of what customers really need and want, but she will keep exceptional service to each customer front of mind every day. Ingrid's role is a key piece in what Prime stands for as a pharmacy benefit manager."

Lindberg has over 15 years experience in creating award-winning customer strategies in the health care, financial services and retail industries. Most recently, she served as the customer experience officer for Cigna and was previously chief marketing officer at Ceridian Benefits Services. Prior to that, she was responsible for member engagement at Definity Health. Business Insurance named Lindberg a "Woman to Watch" in 2009 and Hartford Business Journal included her as one of its Forty Under 40 honorees in 2011.

"Prime's mission really highlights the customer and overall total cost of care. I'm excited about the opportunity to build programs and services that enhance the way customers understand pharmacy and health care," said Lindberg. "In this industry, there are so many touch points that can affect the customer and I think we can make an extremely positive impact."
