Multi-year grant to help WorkLife provide high-touch services that create economic stability among the working poor

DENVER, July 17, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- WorkLife Partnership announced its receipt of a multi-year grant from the Michigan-based W.K. Kellogg Foundation totaling over $713,000. Received in May of 2012, the grant complements employer investment toward the organization's operating costs and programs through April 2014. Efforts supported by this grant include providing direct services and training to low income workers and their families, thus increasing economic stability. 

A not-for-profit organization, WorkLife Partnership is dedicated to creating sustainable communities and thriving workplaces in Colorado through partnerships with employers. The direct services provided by WorkLife Partnership assist working individuals in overcoming the barriers that keep them from getting to work, staying at work, and being productive at work. In addition, WorkLife Partnership works collaboratively with government agencies, training centers, and other nonprofit organizations to provide the individualized services employees need to overcome work-life issues.
