CINCINNATI, March 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in relationship management, today announced that it is joining the 10,000 Jobs Challenge with Milicruit, Military Officers Association (MOAA), DirectEmployers Association and businesses across America to assist service members, veterans and military spouses in finding suitable employment.  Convergys is committed to the mission of the 10,000 Jobs Challenge by providing employment opportunities to the individuals and families who have served and defended the nation.

Convergys will be recruiting for available positions in its Home Agent program.  Home Agents receive inbound telephone calls ranging from billing and customer service to technical assistance from customers of Convergys clients in a variety of industries.  Full-time (35-40 hours per week) and part-time (20-30 hours per week) positions are available, and split shifts are occasionally offered to allow agents to support the client program when they are most needed.
