Spring Designer Collections Feature Original Designs

The spring collection at Payless also includes all four exclusive designer collections by designers Christian Siriano, Lela Rose, Silvia Tcherassi and Isabel Toledo – with footwear starting at $30 and handbags at $20.

Known for making a splash on the runway, the Christian Siriano for Payless(TM) Gold collection pulls inspiration from underwater specimen in the waters of Bali, Honduras and Belize. The shoes infuse a variety of prints and materials found in the ocean resembling rich tortoise shell treatments and featuring uppers made of unique "barnacle coral" fabric. The collection consists of a wedge mule, a peep-toe pump and flat, a sculptural split-sole wedge, and two strappy heels.

The Christian Siriano for Payless(TM)  label, a collection of modern looks for everyday styling, takes women from day to night with five styles. Shoppers everywhere will be able to pick up a pair of classic pumps in easy-to-coordinate colors including black and nude, or colorful, light and airy strappy wedge perfect for any spring occasion. Additional styles include a peep-toe sling-back heel in black, navy blue or bone, and a textured black peep-toe pump embellished with a toe knot.

Drawing inspirations from the neon sign graveyards of Las Vegas and the amusement park vibe of Coney Island, the Lela Rose for Payless (TM) spring collection melds vibrant and bleached hues with the playful spirit iconic of the designer, especially her signature fabrics such as those featuring polka dots, stripes and carousel themes.  The five footwear styles include a double-t strap wedge, a textured pump adorned with a side bow, a color-block ankle strap mid-wedge and two flats.

The Isabel Toledo for Payless (TM) Spring '12 collection, centered on the belief that color on your feet adds life to your wardrobe, combines an array of unique shapes, textured materials, and high gloss faux-patent and metallic finishes. The six-style shoe collection incorporates colors like navy blue, cherry red and sunset yellow, as well as stripes, woven jute and canvas. Silhouettes include the designer's signature wedge with a mary-jane upper, an espadrille "high flat" sandal, a faux-wood "high flat," a woven "smoking loafer," a thong heeled sandal and a strappy heel featuring "bangles for your feet."

Inspired by the island lifestyle and the visitors to Mustique, the Silvia Tcherassi for Payless™ Spring '12 collection highlights the colors found in vibrant flowers and landscape juxtaposed with the sleek look of many of its visitors.  The four-style collection features a heeled eyelet mule and an ankle-cuffed satin flat – both available in taupe and black, as well as an ankle-front cutout heeled bootie and an espadrille wedge with a rope ankle tie rendered in bright teal and deep plum.

The Payless spring collection boasts dozens of fresh footwear styles, handbags and an expansive range of accessories and beauty items with new products arriving every few weeks throughout the spring season. Styles for men and children are available in a range of well-recognized brands including Airwalk®, Champion®, Smartfit® and Dexter®, among others.
