Art Van Furniture Aids Tornado Victims
WARREN, Mich., March 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Touched by the pictures of devastation from Thursday's tornadoes in Dexter, Art Van Furniture announced today it will help victims rebuild their lives with an exclusive furniture and mattress discount program.
Art Van Furniture will offer tornado victims mattresses at cost and extend its employee purchase pricing. Guests will need to bring photos of damaged home or an insurance claim into an Art Van store. Their purchases will need to be approved by a store manager or sales manager and are good for a one time purchase only. This will also include free delivery.
"Our hearts go out to the many families whose homes were damaged or destroyed," said Art Van Elslander, founder and chairman of Art Van Furniture. "Many of our neighbors are hurting and we want to support them the way they have supported us for five decades."
While Dexter was hardest hit by the storm, the program is valid state-wide, offering assistance to all Michigan homeowners who were impacted by the severe weather conditions. The employee discount program expires in six months.
