WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., April 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --  NuVet recently announced the donation of a year's supply of NuVet Plus to a charity raffle benefitting cats and dogs in need. The raffle is for L.I.F.E. Animal Rescue, a cat and dog sanctuary based in Agoura Hills, CA. They are hosting a Cinco de Mayo fiesta party in celebration of their 20th anniversary. The event will include appetizers, dinner, drinks, silent auction, raffle, and more. Rescue community members and supporters are expected to show up for the fun event on May 5th, 2012.

NuVet was founded to help cats and dogs live longer, healthier lives. The goal of NuVet Plus is to provide balanced supplementation, essential nutrients, and health-promoting compounds for optimal well-being throughout the pet's lifetime. "Our products are all about pet health, so from the very beginning we've been committed to sharing that health with less fortunate animals," explained Danielle Deveau, Marketing and Media Manager of NuVet Labs. "We believe that every pet deserves to live a long and happy life, and we're proud to donate NuVet Plus to help those who support charity give their pets the health they deserve."

Poor nutrition and inadequate immune support are the root causes of most dog health problems. The majority of commercial pet foods are produced using methods which don't protect the fragile natural nutrients, making it difficult to attain adequate dog nutrition with these products alone. NuVet Labs fills this gap, allowing pet owners to help their cats and dogs achieve optimum wellness with specially formulated supplementation.

About NuVet Labs: NuVet Labs is a company dedicated to providing optimal health for dogs and cats around the world. Through development of products like NuVet Plus, NuJoint, and more, NuVet enhances the lives and longevity of cats and helps bring out dog health symptoms even in unhealthy pets.
