Census Bureau News -- Who's Black in America? Live on C-SPAN's "Washington Journal" "America By the Numbers" Segment

 

WASHINGTON, July 5, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The size of the U.S. black population was 44 million as of July 1, 2011. Find out more on Friday, July 6, at approximately 8:30 a.m. EDT as Nicholas Jones, chief of the Racial Statistics Branch at the U.S. Census Bureau, discusses statistics about the black population. Each Friday, C-SPAN's "America By the Numbers" segment features information from the federal statistical system.
